Tips for Interview | Do not believe on the advice that just the basics of 11th – 12th math is enough for this exam. Prepare at the level of JEE Main and focus on derivations in calculus and Linnear Algebra it will prepare you for the interviews. You cannot get away with interview with just the superficial knowledge of math and prepare your Work ex questions well if you have experience. |

Tips for Interview | 1. written exam: Most of the questions are fundamental in nature and also question types are repeated every year. Capitalise on the common types and practice a few tough ones as well since cutoff will go extremely high due to competition. I would recommend practising mocks as well as completing the whole syllabus for the exam. 2. interview: Anything goes tbh. You cannot predict the 15 mins allocated to you. Be Confident and get your interview fundamentals right. Fundamentals include: Tell Me About Yourself Why PGDBA Work ex (if your work ex is in analytics expect heavy questioning here, your interview most likely will run here if you have a analytics background.) Future Prospects Strengths and Weaknesses After Fundamentals get to puzzle solving from Geeks for Geeks, again here is only a few handfuls of patterns available just understand the fundamental logic. Finally, learn linear regression (in-depth) and revise graduation math. Apart from technical aspects, try to complete all the news videos from StudyIQ from January to the Date of your interview in descending order i.e. first complete the current month’s news and slowly if time permits work your way towards the old news. |

This will help in your interview for sure. 2) Maximize the written score as interviews are unpredictable. 3) It’s ok if you are not able to give 2-3 answers in the interview, just let the panel know that you know the things by giving examples of your field. 4) don’t waste the panelist’s time, just say you don’t know the answer and move to the next question. 5) best luck and don’t panic! |

Tips for Interview | 1. Prepare well for CAT, 25 confident attempts guarantee you a 70+ score (you get enough time as compared to CAT). After CAT and XAT you can give time for higher math. 2. For Higher Math, if you have prepared well for JEE, it’s a head start for you, you just need revision. If you have a non-math background, you may have tough time getting it through. 3. Interview was just viva voce of math concepts and very few questions on academic topics. I wasn’t asked anything on extracurricular activities neither on work experience nor on profile. |

Tips for Interview | • Listen carefully to the interviewer’s questions, take your time, and provide well-thought-out and structured answers. • Avoid beating around the bush; it’s okay if you can’t answer a few questions. • Don’t assume that because this is a PGDBA interview, you’ll only be asked about math and statistics. My preparation also focused on these areas, and I even tried to steer the interview towards math through my intro. However, they asked me mechanical engineering questions instead. If you have a basic understanding of your field, you’ll be able to handle those questions as well. |

Tips for Interview | You can prepare 11, 12 Mathematics from Arvind Kalia youtube videos. It is good. I adopted a strategy to solve RC first in 30 minutes as I didn’t score in VARC of CAT as I had expected, then, DILR in 65 minutes, then, VA in 5 minutes. In the last 1 hour, I was able to solve 23 questions of QA out of 25 and got 22 right. I got lucky as QA was easy and most of the questions were solvable by options also. So, decide your strategy while writing mocks for PGDBA. BEST WISHES. |

Tips for Interview | I would say be confident and calm no matter what. The panelists will definitely ask you tough questions to observe how you are going to act in that situation, so don’t fret even if you don’t understand the question, be calm and act patiently. (In my case, I was asked politics questions even though when I told them I am not that good with that and let me tell you I couldn’t answer even one properly but now after selection when I look back, I understand what their motive must have been.) Just cover the basics of statistics and don’t exaggerate in the resume or interview. Only say what you know and what you think. Best of luck to all the aspirants. |
